VIDEO: The Healthcare Interoperability Dilemma

John Nebergall believes that poor communication is the biggest interoperability challenge facing healthcare today. When he sat down with Colin Hung, CMO and Editor of Healthcare IT Today at the Annual HIMSS Conference in August, the SVP and GM of J2 Cloud Services and future Chief Operating Officer of Consensus Cloud Solutions expanded on that theory while examining next-level solutions.

During the video interview, Nebergall strongly advocated for a new approach to solving interoperability., specifically:

Look at ways to improve interoperability by leveraging existing workflows and the current digital framework
Explore how Natural Language Processing and Artificial Intelligence can ease the transition of unstructured data to structured data
Understand how Consensus platforms serve as a transformational layer for the exchange of secure documents in healthcare
